Experience first-hand the variety of industry disciplines you’ll master at VFS: Feature Film, Sitcom Television, Voice Acting, and Motion Capture Acting.
EXPERIENCE AN ACTING FOR CAMERA DEMO
You’ll begin your series of acting demos by pairing up with a scene partner and receiving sides that you’ll use throughout the day. Then, VFS Acting faculty will lead you through a hands-on demo that will familiarize you with performing in front of the camera.
EXPERIENCE AN ACTING FOR VIDEO GAMES DEMO
Using the sides you received at the start of the day, you’ll next be taken through a demo on walk cycles – looping frames that show how a character moves through a scene – to learn how to bring a character to life in video games through exaggerated movements.
EXPERIENCE AN ACTING FOR ANIMATION DEMO
In your final demo, you’ll learn the fundamentals of voice acting and how to use these essential skills to bring a unique animated character to life.

Meet Program Head Omari Newton (Netflix’s The Dragon Prince, Blue Mountain State, Far Cry 6), as he explains how VFS’s Acting for Film & Television program trains artists to bring characters to life, how you’ll experience acting for feature film, television, animation, & games at this event, acting career advice, and how VFS students are evolving this craft.
