The Directors Guild of Canada presents a day of fascinating conversations with renowned filmmakers. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from exciting voices from across Canada pushing the creative boundaries of documentary filmmaking. Food and drinks will be provided. All are welcome. No tickets or RSVPs required.

Schedule

12:00 – 1:00p.m. –– In conversation with Bogdan Stoica (They Sleep Standing), Ana Tapia Rousiouk and Renaud Després-Larose (The Dream and the Radio) and Sara Wylie (A More Radiant Sphere). Moderated by Charles Wilkinson.

1:30 – 2:30p.m – In conversation with Luke Gleeson (DƏNE YI’INJETL – The Scattering of Man), Siku Allooloo (Spirit Emulsion) and Nadia Shihab (Echolocation). Moderated by Nimisha Mukerji.

3:00 – 4:00p.m. – Conversation about the New DGC/NFB Agreement, with DGC Staff Nathalie-Anne Brassard and moderated by Lori Lozinski.

4:30 – 5:30p.m. – In conversation with Teresa Alfeld (Doug and the Slugs and Me) and John Bolton (The Lake / nx̌aʔx̌aʔitkʷ). Moderated by Trish Dolman.
