DIALOG is open for submissions from individuals residing in every corner of the world.

Who can apply?

An eligible applicant to this program must meet all of the following minimum eligibility criteria:

  • Identify as Black, Indigenous or Person of Color (BIPOC)
  • Be currently employed at a Director level (or equivalent) or higher at an established media production, broadcast or digital media company or have equivalent freelance experience;
  • Have a minimum of three (3) screen credits or commensurate experience within the entertainment community;
  • Applicants must be able to present a detailed plan of their goals and aspirations in the industry.  All goals must be directly related to producing content for the film and television business

 

Now in its fifth year, DIALOG is a program administered by NATPE and Realscreen that encompasses both the scripted and unscripted content business.

Annually, the program pairs up to 10 mid-level executives with seasoned senior-level mentors who bring not only their wealth of experience but also a commitment to guiding their mentees.

In addition, the cohort will receive three (3) curated workshops that will provide the latest industry intel for such topics as pitching, dealmaking, budgeting, negotiating and financing.
