Do you have 10+ years experience in the live event, motion picture and/or performing arts industry? Have you been leading a team and managing budgets for at least 3-5+ years? Do you like the thought of overseeing not-for-profit programs, services and strategic initiatives with a wide scope of influence to support an entire industry and its workforce?


Actsafe Safety Association has a mission of preventing workplace injuries, illness and deaths in BC’s arts and entertainment industry and recently launched a new five-year strategic plan (2023–2027). We are recruiting for the vital role of Director Industry Programs & Services charged with ensuring our programs and services are world-class, industry-specific, and improve health, safety, and wellbeing knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviours in both employers and workers. The position oversees two departments – Education & Training and Safety Services – and manages 5+ high-performing team members, including safety professionals, an adult education specialist, and several customer service administrative professionals.
