The Pacific Screenwriting Program (PSP) is a not-for-profit organization aimed at building a vibrant screenwriter community in British Columbia by providing a training ground for BC’s aspiring and active screenwriters. We invite you to join our team.

We believe that building this community is an essential first step to:
1. Creating locally owned and controlled IP that can be exported to global markets
2. Increasing the province’s ability to train and to retain talented screenwriters
3. Ensuring that BC’s diverse voices are represented on screens at home and around the world

Combining real-world story-room experience, mentorship, bootcamps, workshops and information sessions, the PSP equips writers with the skills, experience, and connections necessary to establish a sustainable career in the province’s dynamic screen industry. (visit us online at pacificscreenwriting.com)

About the role:
Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Board Chair and Treasurer, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the PSP’s internal operations and outward facing initiatives, ensuring the organization meets the mission and vision as laid out by the Board.

You are a natural collaborator and bridge builder, with strong communication skills that support building sustainable community connections/partnerships. You bring a strong vision as a leader in developing our local industry, with a particular focus on lifting up voices from equity-seeking and under-represented groups.

In this role you will develop new and manage existing professional development programs, screenwriter community events, sponsorships/partnerships, as well as equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
