Office & Facilities Manager

Seeking a candidate to manage day-to-day operations of a fast-growing production company working closely with Art, Set Decoration, Construction, and the Production Office.

Front Street’s full suite of services includes development support, in-house business affairs, legal, budgeting, and scheduling. In addition, we offer production office space, crews, storage, post-production facilities, management of all aspects of delivery, and experienced finance personnel to ensure the successful completion of the tax credit process.

The company and its work have more than 500+ hours of programming, 400+ feature-length films, 120+ TV Episodes, and has been recognized with many awards in the past decade, including multiple Emmys.

As Facilities Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing production company and be working closely with various departments including Art, Set Decoration, Construction, and the Production Office. The successful candidate will not only receive invaluable experience at our head office but also be working hands-on with a fully operational sound stage.

  • Front desk general administration as needed.
  • Serve as Studio Liaison for 3rd party rentals and give Studio tours to prospective renters.
  • Manage & restock office Inventory (water, paper, office supplies), tracking assets and placing orders as needed.
  • Organize maintenance technicians for repairs as needed.
  • Handling Snow or facility debris removal.
  • Facilitate warehouse clean-ups by organizing labor and logistics.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Familiarize yourself with Work Safe BC standards.
  • Maintain key logs and security for our facilities.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of Set Dec & Costume storage facilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid BC driver’s license, car, and laptop. Ability to work remotely as needed.
  • Oral and written communication skills. Must be fluent in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google suite.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Customer and client management skills.
  • Ability multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
  • Technical knowledge of building services.
  • Budgeting skills.
  • Critical thinking and active problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift plywood, Boxes and set dressing and operate a dolly.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
