Lark Productions, a thriving Vancouver-based TV production company is looking for a Story Producer to work on location on a new dating entertainment format. This is a mid-career or senior level position
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing beat sheets and scripts
- Identify and develop storylines in the field
- Pitching ideas to drive story
- Managing crew and talent in the field to move story forward
- Preparing interview questions
- Interviewing cast members
- Taking detailed notes
- Problem solving logistics on the fly
- Daily reporting to the showrunners
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years unscripted production experience is a must
- Strong storytelling instincts and directing skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- Ability to deal with multiple personality types
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- High attention to detail
