This five-day workshop will immerse aspiring creatives in an array of modern visual media technologies. You will learn how various media arts disciplines intersect to deliver unforgettable experiences and craft a project for your portfolio.
Led by VFS faculty, each class will feature hands-on, production-based work to give you a sense of what you can expect from a career in the media arts industry. This workshop is tailor-made for anyone who is passionate about pursuing a career in the entertainment arts.
You will:
- Develop a fundamental skillset in idea generation, character creation, storyboarding, digital filmmaking, 2D design, and sound design.
- Understand how various media arts disciplines intersect to deliver a powerful, cohesive experience.
- Create a stunning video project for your portfolio that combines an array of lighting, camera, editing, & sound design techniques.
- Supplement your training with access to industry-standard Adobe software including Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.
