Toulouse, France, September 14 – 17, 2026

SODEC, Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund and Cartoon Forum are collaborating to offer the opportunity to attend Cartoon Forum 2026 to Canadian and Quebec producers. Cartoon Forum is a major European coproduction and financing event for animated TV series.

Up to six Canadian and Quebec producers will be selected to attend and will receive:

  • 10‑minute pitch session dedicated to Canadian & Quebec projects
  • Matchmaking meetings with European broadcasters, producers and investors
  • One free accreditation per project with full access to market activities
  • Access to the Québec‑Canada Corner
  • One travel grant toward travel & accommodation
  • Pitch coaching with a Cartoon Forum expert

(Participants must arrange their own travel and accommodations.)

ELIGIBILITY 

Canadian participants (outside Quebec):

  • Be a Canadian-controlled company, as defined in sections 26 to 28 of the Investment Canada Act.
  • Be represented at the initiative by a producer who is a Canadian citizen within the meaning of the Citizenship Act or a permanent resident of Canada within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
  • Have their head office in Canada and operate in Canada.
  • Operate as an audiovisual production company.

Participants from Quebec:

  • The company’s head office must be located in Quebec.
  • Be a resident of Quebec (have had a Quebec tax residency for at least two years).
  • The applicant company must not be in default with regard to its obligations to SODEC.
