Previously named Women in Film and Television Vancouver (WIFTV), GEMS incorporated in 1989 as a not-for-profit society registered in British Columbia. By addressing systemic barriers, GEMS works towards supporting more inclusive, representative media.

Trans+ On Screen is a directory representing trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming professionals in all areas of Film and TV, from(pre-)production to distribution.  The directory is constantly growing while it is based out of the UK, a worldwide filter is also available.

Stunt POC

Stunt POC is a website database listing Stunt Performers of Color in Film and Television throughout the Unites States and Canada. All of our ethnic stunt performers (African, Asian, Black, Filipino, Indian / Hindu, Latino / Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Mixed, Native America, Samoan, Tongan) are active SAG-AFTRA and/or ACTRA union members in the Film and Television industry. Our member stunt pages include their stunt resume, pictures, email address, their IMDb page, and most have stunt reels and more for all casting needs.

Directors

The Directors Guild of Canada – BC branch (DGC BC) profiles its member directors on Directors.ca, and features filters to aid search, including the director’s personal characteristics.

Screenwriters

Members of the Writers Guild have the option to voluntarily self-identify in the member directory as a way for screenwriters and story editors to market their skills to producers.

Performers

ACTRA offers an online searchable database of Diverse Professional Talent. This service is offered to ACTRA members and their partner agents, Casting Directors and Producers.
