Lark Productions is hiring a VP, International Scripted Series to help lead and grow the company’s scripted development strategy, with a focus on projects positioned for the U.S., international, and streamer marketplace.

This senior, relationship-driven role will work closely with the President & Executive Producer, the VP Scripted, and the broader senior leadership team to help shape creative direction and bring projects to market.

The VP, International Scripted Series will identify and assess new development opportunities, including original concepts, established IP, talent-driven projects, co-productions, and strategic partnerships. The role includes overseeing creative development on select scripted projects, providing feedback on pitches, scripts, decks, bibles, outlines, and other development materials, and supporting sales and packaging strategy.

Candidates should bring significant experience in scripted television development, ideally within a production company, studio, network, streamer, agency, or related environment. Strong understanding of the Canadian, U.S., international, and streamer marketplaces is required, along with established relationships across broadcasters, streamers, agencies, writers, producers, directors, distributors, and/or production partners.

This opportunity may be a fit for experienced development executives, producers, creative executives, and scripted television professionals with strong creative judgment, industry relationships, and experience developing, packaging, pitching, or selling scripted series.

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
