• SXSW EDU 2027 Attend / Badge Information — SXSW EDU 2027 runs March 13–16, 2027 in Austin, Texas. Registration opens August 18, 2026. Student and early-career badge discounts are expected to open later in summer 2026.

• SXSW 2027 PanelPicker — Session proposal submissions closed July 26, 2026. Community voting runs August 5–23, 2026.

• SXSW Pitch 2027 — Startup pitch competition for innovative companies across technology, media, entertainment, health, sustainability, student startups, and other categories. Early Bird deadline: September 13, 2026. Regular deadline: November 13, 2026. Application fees vary by deadline.

• SXSW Film & TV Festival 2027 — Submit Film, TV, and XR projects for consideration. Submissions open July 28, 2026. First deadline: August 25, 2026. Second deadline: September 15, 2026. Final deadline: October 1, 2026.

• SXSW EDU 2027 Participate — SXSW EDU participation opportunities include speaking, competing, exhibiting, and leading networking events. Current and upcoming opportunities include the Launch Startup Competition, Expo, marketing opportunities, film applications, mentor/roundtable applications, and Student Impact Challenge.

• SXSW EDU Launch Startup Competition — Early-stage education startups can apply to pitch at SXSW EDU 2027. Early Entry deadline: September 11, 2026. Final application deadline: November 1, 2026.
