Learn how film and TV production contributes to climate change and how to adopt best practices to reduce the industry’s environmental impact. This course is a unique, engaging and solutions-based training session offering attendees the information and inspiration to live and work in a more sustainable way.
Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will:
- understand how to act to reduce their impact within the three stages of production
- recognize the impact production has on the environment
- have knowledge of the tools and techniques to lessen this impact and how to collect and report data
- receive the Trained by Reel Green™ badge
- receive the Actsafe Certificate of Completion (for B.C. residents only)
Taking the Sustainable Production Training course is free and recommended to everyone in the motion picture industry. In this 2-hour training, crew will learn how to adopt and implement more environmentally sustainable practices in the three stages of production.
