The AFC is presenting Resonating Wellness: Exploring Music, Sound, and Well-being, a free online workshop for entertainment industry professionals looking for practical ways to support their mental well-being.

Led by music therapist Michaela Bekenn, this experiential session explores how music and sound can help participants slow down, reconnect, and reset during demanding productions, unpredictable schedules, and busy creative careers.

Participants will explore:

  • The neuroscience of sound
  • Deep listening
  • Breathing techniques
  • Gentle movement
  • Present-moment awareness
  • Relaxation practices
  • A live sound bath
  • Practical tools that can support ongoing mental wellness

The workshop is open to entertainment industry professionals in all roles, including those working on stage, behind the scenes, and in creative or administrative positions.

Accessibility supports include ASL interpretation, closed captions, and translated captions in 35 languages.

Everyone who registers will also receive access to the workshop replay for 14 days following the session.
