Knowledge Network is hiring a Broadcast & Streaming Data Specialist to support its television channel and streaming services.

This role is responsible for maintaining Knowledge Network’s programming and rights management database, BroadView. The Broadcast & Streaming Data Specialist will enter and maintain broadcast schedules, streaming rights information, availability windows, program metadata, content records, licensing information, and related data for Prime and Kids programming services.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate program metadata, reviewing data for discrepancies and scheduling conflicts, performing quality assurance checks across broadcast and streaming platforms, supporting content launches and schedule updates, generating reports for organizations such as the CRTC, Canada Media Fund, and SOCAN, and assisting with BroadView maintenance, audits, and process improvements.

This opportunity may be a fit for candidates with significant experience working with databases, content management systems, scheduling software, data entry, metadata, broadcast operations, streaming workflows, Excel, and highly detailed information management.

Knowledge Network is British Columbia’s provincial public broadcaster, operating a free and commercial-free television channel in B.C. and streaming services across Canada.

The position is only open to applicants legally entitled to work in Canada and able to commute to Knowledge Network’s office in Burnaby.
