Ocean Film Festival Canada: Freelance Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead

We are looking for a freelance Community & Sponsorship Lead to help expand the festival’s presence across British Columbia. This person will lead sponsor outreach, community partnerships, and social media promotion to grow audiences and build strong local relationships If this aligns with your experience, We'd welcome a brief conversation to explore how you could play a key role in growing the festival through partnerships.

• Identify and secure sponsorships with aligned brands (outdoor, ocean conservation, sustainable lifestyle, breweries, tourism boards).
• Build relationships with local organizations, dive clubs, surf groups, environmental NGOs, and outdoor communities.
• Manage and grow social media presence before and during the tour.
• Promote events locally through partnerships and community networks.
• Support ticket sales strategies and audience engagement.
