Speaker Biography
Chad’s passion for film began early and led him to Vancouver, where he trained at Vancouver Film School before starting his career as a Production Assistant. From the outset, he focused on building both hands-on experience and strong industry relationships, foundations that have continued to shape his career.
Encouraged early on to pursue Assistant Directing as a path to producing, Chad spent the next decade working his way up through the AD department, developing a broad, practical understanding of production while earning the trust of crews across the industry. Those relationships and experiences later supported his transition into production management and, ultimately, line producing. His credits include STARGATE, Disney’s ONCE UPON A TIME, Netflix’s MIDNIGHT MASS, and the first season of the upcoming series CARRIE, among many others.
A frequent collaborator of filmmaker Mike Flanagan, Chad has contributed to multiple projects within that creative circle, building a reputation for collaborative leadership and a relationship-driven approach to production. His work reflects both a deep understanding of the craft and a commitment to the people behind it.
