Regional Training Bursary

This bursary is for people based in regional B.C., anywhere outside the Lower Mainland, who are looking to gain certifications to advance their careers in the film industry through a Below-the-Line role.

The Motion Picture Industry Orientation Program (MPIO) is a mandatory course required to join many of B.C.’s motion picture unions and guilds.  It provides essential industry knowledge and practical information that career seekers need to know before working on a film set. Completing the MPIO is an important step in career preparation by strengthening eligibility for future union and guild membership and working on signatory productions.
