Company 3 is hiring a Supervisor Data I/O for its Vancouver office.
This full-time onsite role supports the Data I/O Directors and helps lead the work of data technicians across data-related tasks, workflow best practices, project storage assignments, data hosting, transfers, vendor onboarding, and client-facing troubleshooting.
The Supervisor Data I/O will help train team members, test new workflows, coordinate with internal scheduling and production staff, and support departments across post-production workflows. The role requires strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to manage and delegate tasks in a fast-moving production environment.
Candidates should bring experience with Linux operating systems and shell-based tools, colour science and image processing, production tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Autodesk Flame, and Avid, and software such as Colorfront OSD and Transkoder. Experience with LTO and archiving software, dailies workflows, JIRA or similar task-tracking systems, production cameras, Python, and team management are also listed as relevant qualifications.
