Alter Ego is seeking an experienced Colourist to join its Vancouver team, working on episodic series and feature films.
The role involves collaborating with filmmakers and creative teams to develop looks that support the creative intent of each project and elevate its visual storytelling.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering colour grading across episodic series and feature films
- Maintaining visual consistency throughout projects
- Leading client sessions and translating creative feedback into grading decisions
- Working proficiently in Baselight and DaVinci Resolve
- Collaborating with production, editorial, VFX, and finishing teams
- Communicating project progress, priorities, and challenges
- Contributing to workflow improvements and supporting colleagues across the facility
Candidates should have five or more years of professional experience as a colourist, with credits across episodic series and feature films.
Applicants should also have professional proficiency in Baselight and DaVinci Resolve, a strong colour reel, knowledge of colour management and finishing workflows, and strong client communication skills.
