Morwyn Brebner
Morwyn Brebner is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright. She is the creator and showrunner of USA’s new hit series Anna Pigeon. She created CBC/CW’s Coroner, and was showrunner for seasons 1-3 and executive produced Season 4. She co-created Saving Hope (CTV/ION), on which she was an Executive Producer and Showrunner for the first three seasons, and co-created ABC and Global TV drama series Rookie Blue. Series work includes co-developing Crew Girl for Netflix. Co-EP on This Summer Will Be Different for Netflix Canada, Wild Cards, Mary Kills People (Global/Lifetime) and Bellevue (CBC/WGN America). She was a longtime playwright-in-residence at Tarragon Theatre, where many of her plays premiered. She was the recipient of the Writers Guild of Canada Showrunner Award in 2021. Morwyn is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
Tassie Cameron
Tassie Cameron is an award-winning screenwriter, producer, co-founder of Cameron Pictures and is currently the showrunner and executive producer for Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent. Her extensive credits include Pretty Hard Cases, Mary Kills People, Ten Days in the Valley, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Flashpoint and the international hit Rookie Blue. Among her many accolades, Tassie has won the CSA Best Writing, Drama Series award, the CFC’s Award for Creative Excellence and the CSA Margaret Collier Award for Lifetime Achievement. She serves on the board of the Canadian Film Centre and holds degrees from the University of Toronto and NYU.
