The BC Arts Council’s Early Career Development – Individuals program supports early arts practitioners through mentorship and learning-focused residency opportunities.
Individual early arts practitioners can apply through two components:
Mentorship supports early arts practitioners to engage in one-on-one learning and knowledge transfer with an established practitioner in their art form or field of practice.
Residency supports early arts practitioners to complete a learning-focused residency with an arts and culture organization.
This program is open across multiple fields of practice, including Media Arts, Community Arts, Dance, Literary Arts, Museums, Music, Publishing, Theatre, and Visual Arts.
Please note that this program does not support the creation or development of new artistic projects. Applicants should review the full program guidelines before applying.
