Murray Paterson Marketing Group is accepting applications for HYPE, its annual marketing assistance grant supporting emerging Canadian artists and performing arts organizations.

For 2027, HYPE is open to eligible organizations presenting a new work between February and July 2027. The selected recipient will receive $12,000 in marketing and consulting services from MPMG to support the promotion of their work.

Support may include media relations, digital marketing, consulting, training, mentorship, and marketing resources designed to help raise the profile of the selected project and support the organization’s future presentation work.

Eligible applicants must be registered not-for-profit or charitable organizations that have been in operation for no more than eight years as of the application deadline. Eligible projects must be new, fully staged, full-length works or mixed programs presented in a professional setting with a minimum seating capacity of 150 seats. Eligible performing arts genres include dance, theatre, music, and comedy.
