Impact Partners accepts Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) year-round on a rolling basis
Impact Partners looks to finance powerful documentaries that address contemporary social issues, with a focus on projects that tell strong, cinematic stories with a clear point of view and artistic vision.
For general submissions, filmmakers are invited to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) that includes a logline, background on the film team, information on the stage of the project, and details of the total budget and financing raised so far. Development fund applications should emphasize unique aspects of the project and outline how the funds will be used for activities such as development shoots, trailer creation, or archival research.
Funding ranges from $10,000 to $100,000 for development projects, and selected filmmakers may receive investment from Impact Partners through general or development funds, reviewed on a rolling basis.
Deadline: Rolling submission (year-round review)
Grant Amount: Funding amounts for projects vary, with typical investments ranging from $100,000 to $250,000, though support can range from $30,000 to $1.5 million depending on the project.
Note: Canadian filmmakers are eligible to apply.
