June 3, 2024: Call for LOIs Closes

A fiscal sponsor is required to receive funding. International applicants may apply but must have a U.S. based fiscal sponsor should a grant be awarded. Grant recipients and their fiscal sponsors will be asked to sign a grant agreement and to submit progress reports on the project.

The MOFFOM grant provides up to $20,000 annually in finishing funds for scoring, composition, and music licensing efforts for feature-length documentaries directly related to music in post-production. Please review the guidelines and submission requirements below to determine whether your project qualifies.

Since its inception in 2017, the MOFFOM grant program has supported 17 projects.

MOFFOM APPLICATION:

  • Denver Film will accept Letters of Intent for prospective MOFFOM funding consideration between the dates of 1 March – 3 June 2024.
    • Upon review of LOIs, a select number of projects will be invited to submit full applications; an independent evaluation jury will determine awardees.
    • A total of $20,000 in grant funding will be distributed amongst awardees at the discretion of the evaluation jury.
    • Grant recipients and their fiscal sponsors will be asked to sign a grant agreement and to submit progress reports on the project.

REVIEW PANEL

Denver Film will convene panels to evaluate applications and award grants at its sole discretion. Grantees will be announced at the 47th Denver Film Festival in November 2024.
